Let the breath of the rectangle be 'x'.

Length =

'x+1'

Perimeter = 2(l+b) = 14 cm

2( x + 1 + x) = 14 \\  =  > 2x + 1 = 14 \div 2 \\  =  > 2x = 7  - 1 \\  =  > x = 6 \div 2 \\  =  > x = 3 \\  \\ x = 3cm \: breadth \:  \:  \:   \:  \:  \: \:  \: x + 1 = 3 + 1 = 4cm \: length

Area = l×b

4 \times 3 = 12c {m}^{2}

3rd option is the answer
