x length
y breadth
x=y+10.

perimeter 80=2x%2B2y
2%28y%2B10%29%2B2y=80
y%2B10%2By=40
2y%2B10=40
2y=30

y=15 which means x=25

Hello..........^_^

Here is your answer...

Given :- The length of the rectangle is 10m more than it's breadth.
Perimeter of rectangle is 80m.

Let the breadth be ' x m'
so length = (x+10)m
Perimeter  \:  \: of  \:  \: rectangle = 2 (length  X breadth) \\  \\  =  > 80 = 2((x + 10) + x) \\  \\  =  >  \frac{80}{2}  = 2x + 10 \\  \\  =  > 40 = 2x + 10 \\  \\  =  > 40 - 10 = 2x \\  \\  =  > 30 = 2x \\  \\  =  >  \frac{30}{2}  = x \\  \\  =  > 15 = x

breadth = x m = 15m
length = (x+10)m = 15 + 10 = 25m

CHECK
perimeter of rectangle
= 2(length + breadth) m
= 2(15+ 25) m
= 2 X 40 m
= 80m

Hope it helps......... ^_^
