Length of the rectangle = Breadth + 15
l = b + 15
Using the perimeter formula now, we get
2(b + 15) + 2b = 150
2b + 30 + 2b = 150
4b = 150 - 30
4b = 120
b = \frac{120}{4}
l = 50 cms

The measure of the breadth/width is 50cms.

Now, to find out the length of the rectangle, we subtitute b in the pre-formed condition

So, as we know - Length = b + 15 = 50 + 15 = 65cms.

There you go, have fun!

Hi..,
Let the width of rectangle be x cm
Then it’s length would be (x+15) cm
Perimeter=150 cm
Perimeter of rectangle= 2(l+b)
150=2(x+x+15)
150=2(2x+15)
150=4x+30
150-30=4x
120=4x
x=120/4
x=30
Therefore, breadth =x=30 cm
Length =x+15=30+15=45cm
Hope it helped you...
