Answer:

let the width be b m

so acc to question, length = 2(12+b) m

area = 320 sqm

Step-by-step explanation:

now, area of rect. -l'b

320 = b (24+2b)

320=24b + 2b^2

solving the equation by quadratic formula.

b=16 or b= -40

since breadth cant be negative, b= -40 is rejected so width = 16m

and accordingly length = 2(12+16) = 2*28= 54m so the equation is 320=24b +2b^2

and dimensions are breadth = 16m and length = 54m HOPE IT HELPS :D

Answer:

let the width of the rectangle is x m

then length =(2x+15) m

so,the equation is

x(2x+15)=320

=> 2x^2+15x-320=0
