Answer:

lb =18*10=180cm²

since area remains same so,

area=lb

180=25*b

b=180/25

b=7.2cm

Given,

Length of rectangle = 18 cm

Breadth of rectangle = 10 cm

Area of rectangle = l x b

Ar(Rectangle) = (18 x 10) cm²

Ar(Rectangle) = 180 cm²

Again,

New length = 25 cm

Let new breadth = y

Area of rectangle = 180 cm²

=> 25 x y = 180 cm²

=> y = 180/25

=> y = 7.2 cm

Hence, new breadth = y = 7.5 cm
