S O L U T I O N :
Let the width of a rectangle be x cm & let the length of a rectangle be 3x + 2 cm respectively.
The perimeter of the rectangle = 36 cm
As we know that formula of the perimeter of rectangle;
A/q
Thus,
- Length of a rectangle, (L) = 3x + 2 = 3(4) + 2 = 12 + 2 = 14 cm
- Breadth of a rectangle, (B) = x = 4 cm
