Let the breadth be X cm.

Then the length = X + 2 cm.

Perimeter = 24 cm.

2 × ( x + x + 2 ) = 24

2 × ( 2 x + 2 ) = 24

2x + 2 = 12

2x = 10

x = 5.

✨bReadth = 5 cm.

✨Length = 7 cm.

Area = L • B

= 7× 5 = 35 cm^2.

Hey..

Here is your answer..

Let the breadth be x cm then length = 2 + x

Given, perimeter = 24 cm

Now,

perimeter= 2(l + b)

 =  > 24 = 2(x +  x + 2) \\  =  > 12 = 2x + 2 \\  =  > 2x = 10 \\  =  > x = 5

Hence

length = 5 \: cm \\  \\ breadth = 5 + 2 = 7 \: cm

Now,

area = l \times b \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:   = 7 \times 5 = 35 \:  {cm}^{2}
