The length of a rectangle is 2 cm more than its breath,and its parameter is 28cm. Find the Length and breadth of the rectangle.

Anonymous: perimeter, not parameter
vinnii: Perimeter = 2*(l+b)
vinnii: Perimeter = 2*(l+b) here l= b+2 therefire equation will be 2*(b+b +2)=28 breadth will come 6 and thus lenght is = 8

breadth = x
length = x+2

perimeter = 2*(length+breadth)
28 = 2*(x+x+2)
28 = 2* (2x+2)
2x+2 = 28/2 = 14
x = (14-2)/2=6
x+2 = 8

let breadth be x
and let length be  x+2
   perimeter = 28
A.T.Q
  2[x+x+2] =28
2[2x+2] =28
2x+2 =14
2x =12
x=6    which implies that breadth = 6 and length = 6+2 = 8
