Step-by-step explanation:

let breadth be x

lenght=x+20cm

by the question,

perimerter=2(l+b)

100cm=2(x+20+x)

100cm÷2=2x+20

50=2x+20

50-30=2x

20=2x

x=20/2=10cm

breadth of rectangle=10cm

lenght of rectangle=x+20

=10+20=30cm

area=l×b

=30×10=300cm2

Answer: 35 cm and 15 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the breadth of the rectangle be

X cm.

Then, length = (X+20)cm

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2 (l +b)

2 (X + X+20) = 100

2 (2X+ 20) = 100

4X + 40 = 100

4X = 100 - 40

4X = 60

X = 15

Therefore , breadth = 15 cm

And length = 15 +20

= 35 cm

Hope it helps you out!
