let the breadth of the rectangle be x
so
the length of the rectangle will be 20+x
perimeter of a rectangle is 2×(l+b)
so
2×(20+x+x)=100
2×(20+2x)=100
40+4x=100
4x=100-40
4x=60
x=60÷4
x=15

20+x=20+15=35

so the breadth is 15 cm and the length is 35 cm
