The perimeter of a rectangle is 30 inches. The length is 3 more than the width. What is the length and width of the rectangle?

Is there any app to track all my FDs, mutual funds, stocks, or any other such investments? I need a centralized place where I can check my assets.

Most of us have our money invested and divided across places such as savings accounts, fixed deposits, mutual funds, bonds, share

According to the question

L = B + 3 —————————————— (1)

2 (L+B) = 30 —————————————(2)

Where L & B are the length and width of the rectangle.

Now put the value of L in (eqn 2) from (eqn 1)

2(B+3+B) = 30

Or, B = 6

Now from (eqn 1)

L = 6+3 = 9

So the length of the rectangle = 9 inches

And width of the rectangle = 6 inches

Thanks
