Let the, Breafth of Rectangle = x

then,

Length of Rectangle = x+3 [As in the question it is given that, Length is 3 more than Breadth].

As per Both the equation,

=> 2(x+x+3) = 30 m [Perimeter is the sum of all sides].

=> 2(2x+3) = 30 m

=> 4x = 30-6 m

=> 4x = 24 m

=> x = 24/4 m

=> x = 6 m

Hence,

Breadth = x = 6 m

Length = x+3 = 6+3 m = 9 m

{\underline{\mathbf{ANSWER}}} = \mathbf{9}}

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the breadth of the rectangle be x

Length of the rectangle = 3 + x ( According to the question as said length is 3 more than breadth)

Perimeter = 30 m

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( Length + breadth )
                             30    =   2 ( 3 + x + x )
                             30    =    2 ( 3 + 2x )
                             30    =     6 + 4x
                        ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Now we will interchange the position of 4x to find the value of x .

                       =>     4x = 30 - 6

                       =>      4x = 24

                       =>      x = \dfrac{24}{4}

                       =>      x = 6

We have find the value of breadth i.e. = 6 m

Length = 6 m + 3 ( As in the question mentioned length is 3 more than breadth )

Length = 9 m !

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( length + breadth )

                               30  =  2 ( 9 + 6 )

                               30   =  2 ×  15

                               30 = 30

Hence, the answer is right !
