The length of a rectangle is 3 times the breadth and area is 300 cm square then find length and breadth??

ATQ,

let breadth = x

Length = ( thrice the breadth ) = 3x

Area = 300cm Sq

Putting values ,

= length × breadth = Area

= 3x × x = 300

= {3x} {2} = 300

= {x}^{2} = \frac{300} {3}

= x = \sqrt{100}

= x = 10

Thus,

length = 3x = 3 × 10 = 30cm

breadth = x = 10cm
