Your answer
------------------
Length of a rectangle = 30 cm
Measure of one of its diagonals = 34 cm
So,
We can get the breadth by PYTHAGORAS THEOREM.
(Breadth)² = (Diagonal)² - (Length)²
(Breadth)² = (34)² - (30)²
(Breadth)² = 1156 - 900
(Breadth)² = 256
Breadth = √256
Breadth = 16 cm
So,
Perimeter of the rectangle = 2(Length + Breadth).
= [ 2(30 + 16) ] cm
= [2× 46] cm
= 92 cm
Area of the rectangle = Length × Breadth
= (30×16) cm²
= 480 cm²
