(3x+2)(3x-2)=20

9x²-6+6x-4=20

9x²-10+6x=20

9x²+6x=20+10

9x²+6x=20+10

9x²+6x=20+10

10x²=30/6

x²=5/10

ans=1/2

this is the explanation of the ans.

Answer:

Area of rectangle in terms of x is 9x²- 4 square units

 Area of rectangle if x = 20 units is 3596 square units.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

   Length of the rectangle = (3x+2)

   Breadth of the rectangle = (3x-2)

    Area of rectangle = length × Breadth

                                  = (3x+2)×(3x-2)

                                  = 9x²-6x+6x-4

                                  = 9x²- 4

   Area of rectangle in terms of x is 9x²- 4.

    Now, Area of rectangle if x = 20 units

           9x²- 4 = 9(20)²-4

                      = 9(400)-4

                      = 3600-4

                      = 3596

   Area of rectangle if x = 20 units is 3596 square units.

   Hence,

    Area of rectangle in terms of x is 9x²- 4 square units

    Area of rectangle if x = 20 units is 3596 square units.
