let width of rectangle be X m

so , length = x + 4 m

perimeter = 2 (l + b)

2 (l+b) = 60m

2 ( x + 4 + x) = 60m

4x + 8 = 60 m

4x = 60 - 8 m

x = 52/4 m

= 13m

hence, length = x + 4 = 13 + 4 = 17 m

width = x = 13 m
