The length of a rectangle is 4 times its width . If the area is 100 square meter,what is the length
let the width be x
let the length be 4x
Given :-
- area of Rectangle = 100 meter square
- length = 4x
- breadth = x
To find :-
- length = ????
solution:-
x * 4x = 100
4x^2 = 100
x^2 = 100/4
x^2 = 25
x= √25
x= 5
breadth= x = 5cm
length = 4x = 4*5 = 20cm
