Width / breadth= x
Length = 2x - 4
Perimeter = 2(l+b)
100m = 2 ( x + 2x-4 )
100/2= x+ 2x - 4
50 = 3x - 4
50 + 4 = 3x
54 = 3x
54 / 3 = x
18 = x

Therefore, breadth of rectangle = 18m
Length of rectangle = 32m

Answer:

Length 32 and breath 18

Step-by-step explanation:

let the breath be x

therefore breath=x so length =2x-4

perimeter of rectangle =2×(length+breath)

2×(2x-4+x) = 100

so first we will send 2to R.H.S. =

100/2 = 50

the 4 will send to this the 50+4 =54
