Let the breadth be x m

length = x + 5 m

Perimeter = 2( length + breadth )

50 = 2( x + 5 + x )

50/2 = 2x + 5

25 = 2x + 5

25 - 5 = 2x

20 = 2x

x =  \frac{20}{2}

x = 10

so,

length = x + 5= 10m + 5m = 15m
Breadth = x = 10m

let, breadth be x m so length=x+5 m
perimeter=50m
ATQ,
2[x+(x+5)]=50
2(2x+5)=50
2x+5=50/2
2x=25-5
2x=20
x=10
So,breadth=10m,length=10+5=15m.
