Let the breadth be x cm and length be x+5 cm
Then,
Perimeter=2(l+b)
96=2(x+x+5)
48=2x+5
2x=48-5
2x=43
x=43/2
x=21.5 cm

Now length=21.5+5=26.5 cm
Hence the length and breadth of rectangle is 26.5 cm and 21.5 cm respectively.

Let length be x

Then, breadth is x-5

Now,

Perimeter = 2(length+ breadth)

= 2(x+x-5)

So,

96=2(x+x-5)

96÷2=2x-5

48+5=2x

53=2x

x=53/2

Length= 53/2

Breadth= 53/2 -5 = 43/2
