Let the length be x cm

and the breadth be y cm

So it's perimeter is 2(x+y) cm

According to question

x=y+6

x-y=6....(1)

and

2(x+y)=60cm

x+y=30....(2)

(1)+(2)

x-y+x+y=30+6

2x=36

x=18

Putting x=18 in eq. (2)

18+y=30

y=30-18

y=21

So,

length is 18cm

breadth is 21cm

And,

Area is 18×21 cm^2

=378 cm^2
