Then length =3x-6


Perimeter =2(l+b)

148=2(x+3x-6)

148/2 =4x-6

74=4x-6

74+6=4x

80=4x

80/4=x

20=x

Then breadth =20m and lenght =3*20-6 =60-6=54m

Let the Length be = 3x - 6 m

Perimeter = 2 ( l + b )

= 2 ( 3x - 6 + x )
= 2 ( 4x - 6 )
= 8x - 12

8x - 12 = 148
8x = 148 + 12

3x - 6 = 54 metre = Length
