The length of a rectangle is 6 metre less than 3 times its breadth if its perimeter is 148 find the dimension of the rectangle

Let the breadth be x

And the length be 3x-6


So, perimeter= 2(length+ breadth)


Therefore,

148=2(x+3x-6)

148÷2=4x-6

74+6=4x

80=4x

x=20


So, breadth= 20cm

Length= 3*20-6= 54cm
