let b=x
l=6X
perimeter of rectangle =294 cm
now ,
perimeter of rectangle =2 (l+b)
294=2 (6X +X)
294=2 (7X)
294=14X
294/14=X

riddhi172004: R u able to now mark my answer to be brainlist answer
afrozgauharp0dzps: Marked
riddhi172004: thnk u
afrozgauharp0dzps: So 6 + x is 7.
afrozgauharp0dzps: ??
riddhi172004: Wait I m solving your problem clearly
riddhi172004: see X = 21
riddhi172004: It's means breadth =21
riddhi172004: And length = 6× 21
riddhi172004: Now is there any problem

Answer:

Let,

Breadth = x

Length = 6x

Perimeter= 294 cm

Perimeter = 2(l+b)

294 =2( 6x + x)

294 = 2( 7x )

294 = 14x

x = 294/14

x = 21 cm

Hence,

Breadth = x = 21cm

Length = 6x = 6(21)

= 126 cm.
