let the breadth be x

length = 3x + 6

perimeter = 2(l+b)

        148   = 2(x + 3x +6)

      148/2  = 4x + 6

          74   = 4x + 6

    74 - 6   = 4x

          x     = 68/4

            x   = 17

breadth = 17

length = 57
