Let the breadth of a rectangle be x
So length = (7 + x)
Now,
2(Length + Breadth) = perimeter
2( 7 + x + x) = 50
2(7 + 2x) = 50
14 + 4x = 50 - 14
4x = 36
X = 36/4
X = 9
Therefore, breadth =
And, length = (7 + 9) = 16
Hope it helps...!!!

let the length be x
breadth=x-7
a/q
2(x+x-7)=50
4x-14=50
x=16
so length=16
breadth=16-7=9
hope it's right

Aditi7223: Is this correct answer?
