let b be the breadth of the rectangle.

length= 3b-8 m

area of rectangle= l*b sq units

                  1675  = (3b-8)(b)

                    1675=3b^2-8b

                     3b^2-8b-1675=0

                     3b^2-75b+67b-1675=0

                     3b(b-75)+67(b-75)=0

                  (3b+67) (b-75)

therefore, b=75m.

l=3(75)-8=225-8=217m.

therefore length is 217m and breadth is 75m.

hope this is helpful...................
