Answer:

Breadth of the rectangle is 9 m and length is 36 m.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let,

The breadth of a rectangle = x

The length of a rectangle is four times

So,

The length of a rectangle = 4x

According to the Question :

Perimeter of rectangle = 90 m

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 (l + b)

⇒ 90 = 2 (4x + x)

⇒ 90 = 8x + 2x

⇒ 90 = 10x

⇒ x = 90 / 10

⇒ x = 9

The breadth of a rectangle = 9 m

The length of a rectangle = 4x

⇒ 4 (9)

⇒ 36

The length of a rectangle = 36 m

Therefore, Breadth of the rectangle is 9 m and length is 36 m.

Given :-

Length of a rectangle is four times its breadth and the perimeter of the rectangle is 90 m.

To Find :-

Dimensions of the rectangle.

Solution :-

Let the breadth be x

And length  will be 4x

Perimeter = 2(l + b)

90 = 2(4x + x)

90/2 = 4x + x

45 = 5x

45/5 = x

9 = x

Now

Length = 4x = 36 m

breadth = x = 9 m\\
