l=3b
p=96

Now,
l+l+b+b=96
3b+3b+b+b=96
8b=96
b=96/8
b=12

Now,
we have l=3b
l=3(12)
l=36 answer

Let the width of the rectangle be x
Therefore,length= 3x
Perimeter of a rectangle= 96
Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l + b)
96 = 2(3x+x)
3x+x= 96÷2
4x =48
X= 48÷4
X = 12

Therefore,width = 12 and length = 3x=3×12=36
