the length of a rectangle is twice it's breadth. if the perimeter of the rectangle is 60cm then find the length and breadth of the rectangle ​

Answer:

length = 2 breadth

the perimeter of rectangle is 2(l+b) = 60m

2(3b) = 60

b = 10m

then l = 20m

Let us take breadth as x and length as 2x.

Perimeter = 2( Length +Breadth)

60 = 2(x+2x)

3x = 30

x = 10

Length = 20cm

Breadth = 10cm
