2x+4x=18
6x=18
X=3

Length =6 cm

Let the breadth of a rectangle be xcm
Then the length of the rectangle is 2x cm
Given perimeter of the rectangle is 18 cm
We know that
Perimeter = 2 (l+b)
18= 2 (2x+x)
18=2 (3x)
18=6x
x=3 cm
=>2x=2 (3)=6 cm

.°. The length of the rectangle is 6cm
The breadth of the rectangle is 3cm
