l=2b

P = 30

therefore,

P = 2(l+b)

= 2l+2b

= 6b

and b = 5cm

so l = 10cm

and area = 10 × 5

= 50 cm square

Hope this helps you!

<b>Let the breadth be 'x'cm

and the length be '2x'cm

\boxed{Perimeter = 30 cm}

or, 2(l+b) = 30 cm

or, 2(2x+x) = 30 cm

or, 2(3x) = 30 cm

or, 6x = 30 cm

or, x = 30/6 cm

or, x = 5 cm

Therefore, breadth = 5 cm

Then, Length = 2x
= (2×5)cm
= 10cm

Therefore, Area of a rectangle = (length×breadth)sq.unit

= (10×5)cm²

= 50cm²

The breadth of the rectangle is 5cm and the length of the rectangle is 10cm and the Area is 50cm²
