Let the rectangle has breadth = x

So, the length of rectangle = 2x

Given -- Perimeter of the rectangle = 180 cm

⇒ 2(2x+x)=180

⇒ 2× 3x =180

Therefore 6x = 180

⇒ x=30

Therefore, 30 cm is width of rectangle

and length of rectangle is 60 cm.

Hope it helps you. ✌️

Thanks :-)

Explanation:

  • let the breadth to be x
  • then length is 2x
  • perimeter of rectangle =2(length+breadth)
  • 2(2x+x)=180
  • 3x=180/2=90
  • 3x=90
  • x=90/3
  • x=30
  • therefore the length is60..
