The length of a rectangle is twice its breadth.If the ratio of the perimeter of a rectangle and its area is 1:2 find the dimensions of a rectangle.​

suppose,

for rectangle,

length=x

breadth=y

by 1st condition,

x=2y

x-2y=0---------(1)

perimeter=1/2×(length+breadth)

1/2×(x+y)

 \frac{x + y}{2}

area=length×breadth

x+y

by 2nd condition,

x+y/2+x+y=1/2
