Let breath of rectangle be x
So length will be 2x
Now,
Perimeter will be 2(l+b)
i. e. 2(2x+x)=54
Or, 2(3x) = 54
Or, 6x = 54
Or, X = 54/6
Or, x = 9
So,
Breadth = 9 cm
Length = 2*9 = 18 cm.

Answer:

breadth =9cm

length= 18cm

Step-by-step explanation:

let breadth of a rectangle be x

length will be 2x

perimeter of a rectangle =2(l+b)

2(2x+x)=54

2(3x)=54

6x=54

x=54/6

x=9

therefore breadth = 9cm

and length =2*9=18cm
