Length -> 2u

Width -> 1u

Perimeter = 2L + 2W -> 2u + 2u + 1u + 1u = 6u

6u = 60ft

1u = 60ft / 6 = 10ft (Width)

Length = 10ft * 2 = 20ft

Area = 20ft * 10ft = 200ft^2.

Answer is area is 200 square feet.

Let the width be x inches.
then length be 2x inches.
Perimeter of Rectangle= 2[l × b]
60 feet = 2[2x + x]
60 feet = 2 × 3x
60 feet = 6x
60/6 = x
10 = x

Length = 10 × 2 = 20
Width = 10

Area of Rectangle = 20 × 10 = 200 feet
