Let the breadth be x m

Length is 5m less than twice its breadth = 2x - 5

Perimeter of the rectangular plot = 50 m

2(Length + Breadth) = 50 m

2(2x - 5 + x) = 50

3x - 5 = 50/2

3x - 5 = 25

3x = 25 + 5

3x = 30

x = 30/3

x = 10

Dimensions :

Breadth = x = 10 m

Length = 2x - 5 = 2(10) - 5 = 20 - 5 = 15 m

Therefore dimensions of the rectangular plot are 15 m and 10m.
