Why was lencho very happy when it started rain afternoon?

Lencho was waiting for it to rain because the only means of irrigation in his crop plantation field was rainwater. He was wholeheartedly anticipating it because in the otherwise, he and his whole family would have to go hungry for a year. Rain shower was the only means of irrigation in his field so he needed it soon. He was anticipating for long days that rain will come.
