width=x

length=3x+x

perimeter of rectangle =2(l+b)

96=2(3x+x+x)

96=10x

x=9.6

l=3(9.6+9.6) & b=9.6

let length of rectangle be 3x
breadth of rectangle be x
perimeter of rectangle be 96
according to question,
perimeter = 2(l+b)
96=2(3x+x)
96=6x+x
96=7x
x= 96/7
x= 13.71
now,
length of rectangle=3x
= 3× 13.71
= 41.13 m
breadth of rectangle = x
= 13.71m
