☘️ Given :

  • Length = 140 m
  • Ratio of the length to the breadth of the field = 5:3
  • Find the breadth of the field.

☘️ Solution :

As given,

Length of the field = 140 m

Let the breadth = x

Then, 140 : x = 5:3

→ 5 × x = 140 × 3

→ x = 140 × 3/5

→ x = 84

Therefore, the breadth of the rectangle field = 84 m.

☘️ Answer :

  • Breadth = 84 cm
