let breadth=x m
and length=3x+2m
Area =1496 m2
l×b=1496 m2
x×3x+2=1496
3x^2+2x=1496
3x^2+2x-1496 =0
3x^2+68x-66x-1496=0
x(3x+68)-22(3x+68)=0
(x-22)(3x+68)=0
(x-22)=0 and (3x+68)=0
x=22m x=-68/3m
Not possible
so, breadth=x=22m
and length=3x+2=66+2=68m.
