Bteadth=1/2m
Length= 3×breadth
Length= 3×1/2= 3/2m
Perimeter of rectangle= 2(l+b)
2(1/2+3/2)
2(4/2)
2×2=4m

Given breadth of the field is 1/2 or 0.5m

Also given that length is 3 times the breadth

i.e, L=3B

Substituting the value of breadth in our equation,

L=3(0.5)

L=1.5m

Perimeter of the rectangle is given by the formula = 2(L+B)

Substituting our values of L and B in the perimeter formula,

=2(1.5 + 0.5)

=2(2)

=4m

Therefore, perimeter of the rectangle is 4m
