the length of a rectangular field is 3 times its breadth. if the breadth of the rectangle is 3½ m, find the perimeter of the rectangle.

let the breadth be b
then the length be 3b
given b=3.5m
then length is 10.5m
so the perimeter of rectangle is 2(l+b)
                                                   2(10.5+3.5)
                                                   2(14)
                                                    28 m sq
