Let the breadth be x.
Then length will be x + 30.

Perimeter = 2(l+b)
640 = 2(x+30+x)
640/2 = 2x + 30
320 = 2x + 30
320 - 30 = 2x
290 = 2x
x = 290/2
x = 145

Breadth = 145m
Therefore, Length = 145m + 30m
= 175m

Now I think it is right..

aashi39: i don't know how to solve it
Khushigautam07: so check my answer its coming 175m only u don't wanna check it once so what can I do
Jayaditya26: and if we are taking breadth as x, then length will be 30m more than x that is x+30
Khushigautam07: I took that only
Jayaditya26: But in your pic it is 30+x
Khushigautam07: 1+2 or 2+1 what is the difference
Jayaditya26: Yes you are right
Jayaditya26: I am sorry for that
aashi39: ya its coming right sorry for all disturbance
Jayaditya26: Now i have understood. In the answer given by me, i have written perimeter as length into breadth. But that will be 2(l+b)
