The length of a rectangular field is 7 metres less than 5 times the breadth of field. What is length, if breadth is x metres​

Breadth = x metres

Hence, length = (5x-7) metres

Let the breadth be x, then length =x+10

Perimeter =2(l+b)

⇒52=2(x+x+10)

⇒26=2x+10

⇒16=2x

So x=8

x+10=18
