perimeter of the rectangular field= 400m

let breadth of the field= x

then length of the field= x+26

perimeter of the rectangular field=

2(length+breadth)

2(x+x+8)=400

2x+8= 200

2x= 192

x = 96

breadth = 96m

length=96+8=104m
