=>x×3x=432

=>3x²=432

=>x²=432/3

=>x²=144

As we know that

• Area of rectangle = l × b

Where " l " is length and " b " is breadth of rectangle.

• According to question

Let the breadth be x then its length be 3x

→ Area of rectangular field = 432 m²

→ l × b = 432

→ 3x × x = 432

→ 3x² = 432

→ x² = 432/3

→ x² = 144

→ x = √144

→ x = ± 12 m

Hence,
