Let breadth = x

Length = 2x

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 (l + b) = 288m

2 ( x + 2x ) = 288

2x + 4x = 288

6x = 288

x = 288/6

x = 48

Breadth = x = 48 m

Length = 2x = (2 * 48) m = 96m

Hope this helps!!!!

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the Perimeter of a rectangle is 288 m and the length is twice the breadth

Let the length be '2b'

Breadth = 'b'

Perimeter = 288 ( given )

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 ( l + b )

2 ( 2b + b ) = 288

3b = 144

b = 48

Breadth = b = 48 m

Length = 2b = 96 m
