the length of a rectangular garden is 8 metres more than its breadth.if the perimeter of the garden is 80metres,find its length and breadth

l=8x
per.=2*l+b___1
per.=80m _____2from 1&2
80=2(x+8x)
80=2(9x)
80=18x
x=80/18 now solve it

Suppose breadth=bm
then, 
length(l) will be (b+8)m

Perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)=80m
2(b+b+8)=80m
2b+8=40m
2b=32m
b=16m

l=b+8
16+8=24m
