diagonal =d
 {d}^{2}  =  {b}^{2}  +  {l}^{2}  \\ 5 {}^{2}  =  {b}^{2}  +  {3}^{2}  \\ b {}^{2}  = 16 \\ b = 4 \\
hence breadth =4 cm
